Children deserve respect, attention and high-quality experiences. Our early education program provides each child with the opportunity to grow and learn in a safe, loving and encouraging environment. We serve as a support system to the families in our community as they strive to raise well-rounded, happy children. Our philosophy is that children’s success now, or in the future, depends on the successful collaboration of teachers and parents who value social, emotional, intellectual and physical child development. We strive to make this possible for as many children as we can on a daily basis. Katie has been committed to the ongoing excellence of the Children's Center since 2016, when she joined the team as an Assistant Teacher. Since that time, Katie has shown her interest and commitment to leadership by taking the initiative to continue her education, becoming Director qualified, and seizing growth opportunities whenever possible such as successfully taking on the responsibilities of Lead Teacher, Interim Director, and Assistant Director. Each staff member meets or exceeds the requirements set forth by the Colorado Department of Human Services and consistently attends teaching workshops, first aid, Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation and Universal Precautions trainings. In addition, each staff member must pass a background check and have their fingerprints on file with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
